Organizational Code of Ethics
In order to preserve and continuously enhance the Company's credibility among direct insurance companies, reinsurance companies, shareholders, competitors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders, as well as to foster trust and stability in the insurance industry and capital market, and to prevent unprofessional conduct and unfair competition, all managers and employees of Iranian Reinsurance Company shall perform their duties in compliance with and respect for the following principles:
- Honesty, transparency, and fairness in interactions with direct insurance companies, reinsurance companies, colleagues, shareholders, and other professional entities within the insurance industry.
- Diligent compliance with the laws and regulations governing the insurance industry and capital market, and maintaining professional and transparent interaction with relevant regulatory authorities.
- Providing accurate, clear, and comprehensible information in serving customers and shareholders, and ensuring their timely and appropriate awareness of all rights and obligations.
- Maintaining confidentiality and refraining from the disclosure of customers' and shareholders' documents and information, in accordance with ethical principles and applicable regulations, particularly in cases of conflicts of interest among stakeholders.
- Acting in utmost good faith in concluding reinsurance contracts, and demonstrating accountability, accuracy, and promptness in fulfilling the Company's obligations arising from such contracts.
- Making appropriate efforts to resolve, through amicable means, any disputes arising from insurance and non-insurance contracts.
- Providing professional services and consulting to customers with the aim of improving the quality of insurance services and enhancing professional reputation.
- Effective cooperation with insurance industry participants to improve the business environment of direct insurance and reinsurance markets, and refraining from unhealthy competition.
